Doug Ford promotes unhealthy eating at McDonald’s — 78% of people hospitalized for COVID-19 were overweight or obese

The Premier of Ontario Doug Ford, who is morbidly obese, closed gyms and banned sports while promoting unhealthy eating at McDonald’s. About 78% of people who have been hospitalized, needed a ventilator or died from Covid-19 have been overweight or obese, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a new study Monday. Exercise and healthy eating is vital in keeping a strong immune system to fight off viruses. Politicians, like Doug Ford, should stop encouraging unhealthy eating and instead promote physical activity.

Trudeau Government allowed 322,815 foreign workers into Canada during the pandemic

With millions of Canadians unemployed due to the pandemic, the Trudeau Government still allowed 322,815 foreign workers into Canada in 2020.

Allowing foreign workers to do lower-skilled, entry-level jobs harms students, new grads and the unemployed. Wages are suppressed, which makes it less likely Canadian workers will want to move from high-jobless areas to lower-unemployment regions.

Immigrants leaving locked down Canada, returning to countries of origin where there is more freedom

The unconstitutional lockdowns imposed by the Trudeau Government has prompted some recent immigrants to leave Canada and return to their countries of origin, where there is more freedom.

The number of permanent residents who have been in Canada for less than five years declined by four per cent to 1,019,000 by the end of 2020 from 1,060,000 the year before, according to an analysis of Statistics Canada’s labour force survey that measures the number of workers between 15 and 65 years old by their immigration status.

The data shows that the number of permanent residents who have been in Canada for five to 10 years also dropped from 1,170,000 in 2019 to 1,146,000 in 2020.

Justin Trudeau following in the footsteps of Fidel Castro and implementing strict gun controls

Justin Trudeau has banned law abiding Canadians from owning 1,500 makes and models of guns. Majority of gun crime in Canada is committed by gangs — banning legal guns will do nothing to reduce crime. Governments that ban ownership of guns usually do so in order to oppress its citizens.

Fidel Castro took power in 1959, gun confiscation slowly commenced. The Castro government started by targeting rival revolutionary groups, who fought the Batista government but were not Communist affiliates. Then, the Castro government broadened the definition of “rival revolutionaries” to disarm more of the populace.

AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines made from the cells of murdered babies

The AstraZeneca and the Johnson & Johnson vaccines were developed by using products of cells that were initially taken from murdered babies.

A coalition of Catholic bioethical groups is urging the Canadian government to invest in COVID-19 vaccine research that doesn’t use cells derived from electively aborted fetuses. “Manufacture of vaccines using such ethically-tainted human cell lines demonstrates profound disrespect for the dignity of the human person,” said a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Health Minister Patty Hajdu.

Trudeau Government bringing in over 33,000 immigrants per month into Canada during the pandemic

The Trudeau Government is bringing in approximately 33,417 immigrants per month into Canada during the pandemic, in order to meet its target of 401,000 for 2021. Due to the travel restrictions Canada’s Immigration rate was cut to 184,370 in 2020; in an effort to make up for the low number of new immigrants the Trudeau Government upped the targets over the next three years — increasing from 401,000 this year to 421,000 in 2023.

The top three source countries for immigration into Canada are India, China and the Philippines.

Trudeau Government still allowing COVID-19 infected flights into Canada

Many flights entering Canada still have COVID-19 infected passengers. Flights with confirmed COVID-19 cases in February: 32 at Pearson Airport, 13 at Vancouver Airport, 10 at Calgary airport, and 10 at Montreal Airport. Before entering Canada passengers must show a negative COVID-19 test, however, false negatives are common. According to PHAC, approximately 98 per cent of patients tested within two days of their exposure will still get a negative result from PCR tests. That number drops to 50 per cent over the first five days post-exposure, and 10 per cent after that until symptoms disappear.

Trudeau Government wants voting by phone in next election

Liberal majority on the House affairs committee thinks Canadians should be able to vote by phone in a pandemic election. The recommendation was met by opposition warnings of a ballot box swindle: “It opens the door to fraud.”

MIT researchers say they have uncovered security vulnerabilities in a mobile voting application that was used during the 2018 midterm elections in West Virginia. Their security analysis of the application, called Voatz, pinpoints a number of weaknesses, including the opportunity for hackers to alter, stop, or expose how an individual user has voted. Additionally, the researchers found that Voatz’s use of a third-party vendor for voter identification and verification poses potential privacy issues for users.

Where did the money go? Justin Trudeau’s $35 billion infrastructure fund has built nothing so far

In 2017 the Trudeau government launched the Infrastructure Bank with $35 billion. In four years not a single project has been started or completed, which begs the question, “where did the money go?” The only response Infrastructure Minister Catherine McKenna gave, to the bungling of the fund, “large projects take time.” Canadians are angry there is nothing to show for the billions of taxpayers money allocated for infrastructure.

International community silent on the Christian genocide by Islamists in Nigeria

The religious persecution of Christians in Nigeria is teetering on genocide, religious leaders and foreign policy analysts caution in a desperate bid for the international community to take urgent action.

More than 1,200 Nigerian Christians are estimated to have been slaughtered in the first six months of 2020 and in excess of 11,000 murdered over the past five years – with scores still unaccounted for.

International Christian Concern (ICC) points out the figures are likely far greater, with upwards of 50-70,000 Christians dead over the past decade.

Heavily armed jihadis appear in the dead of night, attack house after house, breaking down doors, shouting Allahu akbar. They shoot the elderly and able-bodied men. They rape, mutilate, and murder women. They kidnap young boys and girls. They torch houses, schools, and churches. Murderous incidents are acted out with accelerating frequency, perpetrated primarily by two Islamic terror groups—Boko Haram and Fulani jihadis.
